African Art
African art has always been with me since I was a child, through the African tradition that came from my maternal grandmother, but as time passed and spiritual artistic works were carried out, I also decided to include spirituality in African art...
This is how spiritual African art emerged in my work, thus being a single style including all themes...
My first works in pencil, watercolors and acrylic are in an African style, expressing the culture of my grandparents and what I knew as a child related to Africa...
This new collection that I started last year, returning to the African style using the acrylic technique with some pieces bringing the light of Africa through spirituality, on large canvases so that the impact of my works is greater than those that have already created.. .
There are many collections created until arriving here in this detailed work on Africa, so that it stands out from other works already created by other artists...
Each work carried out is a journey into the unconscious bringing the reality of the beauty that exists in Africa, such as people, animals, nature and everything else that I can create or imagine...
Each work for me is individual and I don't look at what I've already finished, because each one follows its own path and thus asks what should be done and what path should I follow to finish it with the greatness and beauty that it asks of me!! !
Each work surpassed the last, it has to be better than the penultimate one and so on consecutively to be able to achieve the excellence of my talent and creativity!!!
I prefer not to see the work already done and finished but rather to move forward in search of a new creation (always)...
Technique and creativity must go hand in hand, and experience brings the next creations to light...
I'm not afraid to try when working and if something goes wrong I take the opportunity to transform it and find something that wasn't thought of but that came about due to the mistake of the moment and thus a new opportunity for new projects arises.
I work, I stop and observe my work, I think and re-read without fear of making mistakes... I reflect, sometimes I leave it for later if I don't find the solution at the time, I continue my work and when I don't develop the answer comes the answer to what I need to continue where I left off and changed direction...
I've been painting for over twenty years and I've worked on almost every painting technique...
I'm not an artist who stays with the same technique my whole life, as I need changes because of my curiosity and creativity that never stops!!!
Before finishing a collection I already have the next collection in mind, perhaps written and programmed so that once I finish the real one I won't have to think about what I'm going to do...
There are many ideas, but everything in due time because nothing is created by magic but with time and a lot of dedication and discipline in what you do...
Whoever was born to be an artist will be one forever until he dies...
